When we started working with Daniel, our dog Tillie was pulling on her leash, jumping on furniture, not always listening to commands, and somewhat reactive to other dogs. Daniel explained that Tillie had no boundaries and really needed them. He helped us set those boundaries — and the difference was immediate.

Over the months we worked with Daniel, Tillie went from a dog without structure to one who listens, responds to commands, and rests calmly in her designated spots throughout the day. She is also far less anxious around other dogs.

Daniel worked with us at home, on walks, in parks, and on the beach. At the same time, Tillie was in the process of becoming a therapy dog — a certification that requires dogs to remain calm around other dogs with no barking, lunging, or reactive behavior. If we hadn't been working with Daniel on Tillie's reactivity at the same time, she never would have passed the therapy dog test. She now has regular therapy sessions with people of all ages.

Daniel's knowledge of canine behavior is vast. He is patient, a great listener, and explains everything in an easy-to-understand way. He trains both ends of the leash. Daniel is responsible for making Tillie a true pleasure to have in the family.

My wife and I hired Daniel in February 2022 to help us with our new puppy, Bhakti — a name that means love and devotion in Hindi. At the time, we were at a very low point. Bhakti was not like any dog either of us had ever loved before. She had no interest in cuddling or walks, spent her indoor time zooming around our condo, and would growl and snap if we tried to pet her or ask her to move over on the couch. With broken hearts, we were almost ready to give up.

Before we did, we reached out to several trainers — many never called back, others had no availability for weeks. Then we found Daniel.

On our very first appointment, Bhakti became a different pup. Daniel gave us compassionate support, deep knowledge of dog behavior, and the tools to actually connect with her. We met with him for two-hour sessions almost every week for six months, then transitioned to bi-monthly, eventually completing our journey together after a full year.
